To ensure a proper diagnosis, we need to examine your pet. We begin a medical assessment with a thorough physical examination of your pet. We may then recommend lab work to further evaluate your pets’ problem and organ system function. These test results may complete the diagnosis or indicate the need for further testing such as a specific disease diagnostic test, radiographs (X-rays), abdominal ultrasound, echocardiogram (heart ultrasound), endoscopy, or biopsy to complete the diagnosis for your pet.
If you’re concerned that something may be wrong with your pet, please call us to schedule a medical assessment. Depending on the symptoms, we may ask you to bring in your pet right away.
